#InGameUK Return to #Devcon!

It’s that time of year, October Devcon 2018 is coming and naturally, InGameUK will be returning for the third time this year, participating as a trader at the closest and biggest Convention in our local area. Previous Devcon events this year have been a huge success seeing visitors from all over the country and things are shaping up for the next iteration this October 13th and 14th to be just as great. They have some great guests attending and it’s always inspirational to chat retro, and “geek out” over all the wonderful items we have on sale, sharing a little nostalgia with our customers!

Over the previous Devcon’s we’ve had people come down and visit, specifically because they have seen us and what we do online! That is, as always, really rewarding and motivating!

Devcon in October, now only less than a week away looks set to be another exciting and fun convention with loads to see and do.

Paul McGann — WikiMedia

Not just one, but TWO, Doctors! We love Doctor Who, and many of our customers do as well. So you’ll be pleased to know both; Paul McGann and Colin Baker, The eighth and sixth Doctor Who! Even Eastenders villain, nasty Nick Cotton!! John Altman, who was also in Return of the Jedi as a X-wing Gear Pilot. Will be there! All three will be at the Con for signings and selfies and answering Q&A panels. Sadly Doctor Who’s Sylvester McCoy, the seventh Doctor due to attend, won’t be there after the Birth of his grandson. We absolutely adored Sylvester in his role in The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug as the famous “Radagast”. A character we loved here at InGameUK!

Along with all of these special guests, there will be the first round of the South West Cosplay Championships, retro and modern gaming, special effects makeup and display tutorials, and much, much more. It would be unfair of us, in the same breath, not to mention some of the super cool traders & amazing artists. They will be selling a massive selection of goods, from brilliant individual works, including Art Commissions, Toys, Comics, Jewellery, Clothing & even an array of props and cosplay weaponry!

VIP queue jumper tickets are available now for £10, or £5 on the door, via the organisers Events Frontier who are helping raise funds for Families for Children Adoption.

InGameUK will be selling all manor of curiosities including items from our usual great stock line of Retro Games & Consoles, board games, rare and collectible toys! As well as custom Nerf Guns. Not stopping there, our staff will be on hand to chat and answer questions about booking private gaming experiences and taking part in many of the events we are part of or organising with the help our awesome community. If you are around the Plymouth area over the weekend of the 13th and 14th October, pop down, check it out and come and say Hi! See you all “InGame”!

JUST ONE MORE THING..
Excitingly, you will also be able to place orders from a wide range of Board Games and Card Games ready for delivery mid November! This includes any NEW releases being announced at Essen in Germany.
